Adam and Kayla were in university together from 2013-2016 at Southern Oregon University. Although both were majoring in Computer Science and had some classes together, they actually met in a German Language 1 class!

Kayla and Adam loved living in San Francisco together! They would often eat dinner next to a window in their studio where they could look out to the Golden Gate Bridge. Many adventures happened in San Francisco; beach days, camping in the redwoods, and visits to interesting places all over the city.

The baby Riza! Getting Riza was a defining, growth moment for Kayla and Adam's relationship and even as individuals. She presented them with new, unique challenges, so they learned a lot about each other (and dogs). She used to be so little!

Going on a 2000-mile+ road trip is no little feat! This was one of Kayla and Adam's first "big" trips together. While they had done a few small vacations together before this, there's something different about being cramped in a car together. The road trip started in San Francisco, and they headed up north through Wyoming to get to New York. On the way back, they went south, taking the time to stop at the Grand Canyon and be blown away.

When Kayla and Adam moved in together, Adam was already living in San Francisco. In 2020, Kayla lost her job, and Adam's job became remote, so they realized that meant we could move, and why not? Together, and after Kayla secured a new job, they decided to make the move out to Denver. In Denver Kayla and Adam often go hiking, check out unique spots in the mountains, and discover unique events, like a ramen festival!

In 2022, everyone was finally vaccinated, so Kayla and Adam went to Kauai for a wedding and made it into a trip. Aside from being blown away by the natural beauty of the island, they also loved relaxing on little beaches and getting a break from reality. On the last night on the island, they saw the clearest night sky of our lives, a memory they still cherish and talk about today!

Kayla and Adam's engagement was also our 10-year anniversary, so they'd already planned a small trip to California's wine country. They stayed at a cute little bed and breakfast in downtown Napa, rode some horses, and drank tons of wine!

In 2024, Kayla and Adam decided it was time to go international together, so they packed up their bags and went to London to stay with some friends! They got a private tour of Stonehenge, where they learned that some hippies had written "LOVE" on the rocks decades ago, which you can still see to this day! It wouldn't be a trip without visiting museums, ancient abbeys, and sitting down to have dinosaur afternoon tea!
