Fun fact: almost everyone coming to our wedding needs to travel here!
It's best to fly into Denver International Airport; there are several car rental options nearby such as Hertz, Avis, etc. If you're staying in Denver, you can take the RTD train, which ends at Union Station in Downtown Denver -- read more here! Similar to other airports, you can call an Uber/Lyft which can take you from the airport to where you're staying, or find other transportation options such as a bus.
If you're on the fence about it, we recommend renting a car 🚗 -- almost anything you might want to do on your own will probably have to be driven to!
Absolutely feel free to reach out to Adam or Kayla with any questions concerning travel, we are always happy to help you out! Additionally, if you're interested in finding others to rent a car with, we may be able to help you find someone.
All events will be in Boulder or Denver -- Kayla and Adam are getting married in Boulder, but we live in Englewood (just south of Denver!). They recommend trying to stay in Boulder for easy access to the wedding venue, but if you are looking to do a lot of activities while out here besides just the wedding, Denver is more central.
We found a range of hotels in every area for you and noted down what their prices appear to be using the following key:
$ = Less than $150/night
$$ = Less than $300/night
$$$ = More than $300/night
🤑
Note you may be able to find good deals for these places on places like Booking.com -- this key is just based on quick glances from Google!
Since the wedding venue is in Boulder, it's most likely going to be easiest to also stay in Boulder. The venue is just 10 minutes away from downtown! Downtown Boulder is very nice; it's a college town, and a wealthy area in general. Staying in Boulder feels more like staying in a "mountain" town when compared to Denver.
Boulder isn't as large as Denver, and has more limited options in terms of where to stay. Hotels tend to be more expensive. Plan to book early if you want to stay in Boulder!

If you're looking to do more than just attend Kayla and Adam's wedding, Denver is great because it's more centrally located. You can easily access Boulder, Colorado Springs, and RMNP isn't too far if you're up for a drive! Denver is also a bigger city than Boulder, so it just has more going on. If you stay in downtown Denver, you can walk to great restaurants and interesting places, or just go shopping at the 16th Street mall!
You should be able to take the Flatiron Flyer from Denver to Boulder if you don't want to rent a car for the wedding, but you'd still need to get an uber/lyft from Boulder to the wedding location.
There are FAR more hotels in Denver than listed here. If you're scrambling for a place, you can definitely find one in Denver. Feel free to reach out to Kayla or Adam for some help if you need!

Kayla and Adam have stayed in our fair share of Airbnbs (like the one pictured above, their Las Vegas stay from the weekend they moved to Colorado). They can be really great! However, over the years, Airbnb has gotten more expensive, especially when you take into account the fees that get tacked on, and they've done damage local economies across the world. So Kayla and Adam also encourage you to stay in a locally-owned hotel if you can, which usually will offer more bang for your buck such as amenities like pools and complimentary cleaning services! All of the hotels we listed above are locally-run, at least to the best of our knowledge.
If you feel an Airbnb or even VRBO is the best option for you (which it very well may be! no judgement here!), here's where we recommend looking for one:
(roughly - purple is recommended areas, yellow is also great!)
If you want to double-check a neighborhood with us, feel free to shoot Kayla or Adam a text!
